Australian Standard wind ratings
Cantaport structures are wind rated from 128 to 147 kpm. Cantaports also have a snow loading rating and suit extreme weather conditions. They are also suitable for high fire areas as they are not cumbustible.
The Cantaport is available as DIY and all units are flat packed and pre-drilled. Easy to follow instructions and installation guides accompany the units. (see “How Easy is it to install a Cantaport” below)

How easy is it to install a Cantaport?
Cantaport will give you a spectacular patio, awning or a carport to stun the neighbourhood? These cantilever carport kits can be used as patios or gazebos, as swimming pool shade, bus shelters or anywhere on your property that requires shade.
Cantaport kits can be joined together to make them twice the size or more! (see photograph at the foot of this page). Special connection Kits allow in-line connection (tandem); M connection (dome) or Y connection (gull wing).
Cantaport Kits for a carport or shade areas are precision made Japanese design and construction and are very superior to copies from other Asian countries. The roof of a Cantaport is a very special polycarbonate, only available to Cantaport.
1. Cantaports are precision made meaning that their is virtually no cutting or drilling necessary in installation.
2. ThePolycarbonate roof in Blue Smoke is amazing; it has – exceptional strength, polycarbonate solid sheet with impact ability 250-300 times of that of glass
3. The polycarbonate roof keeps out 83% of the sun’s heat but lets in over 50% of the light
4. It’s almost 100% UV resistant. (99.9%)
5. Sheets are also fireproof so a Cantaport is suitable for high fire danger regions.
The KHGO is the least expensive of the ‘standard size’ Cantaports. It is suitable for wind region A only 5.1m long and 2.7m wide. (All other Cantaports are rated for Wind Region B)
The KHGO is only available in Silver or Urban grey.
