A Dutch gable profile adds a difference to any added structure around your home. At a small extra cost these carports can be manufactured “Solar Ready” which allows for an addition dead load of 20 kg/m2 on the roof of the structure allowing the necessary strength to install solar panels.
Your engineering plans are ‘state-of-the art’ – 36 pages of instruction and each joint has a Q-Reader where you can use any smart phone to view a video of how things go together. They are an installers dream.
(1) All brackets and components are pre-folded and pre-punched holes, for ease of assembly
(2) All fasteners and fixings supplied, including coloured roofing screws and pop rivets for your roof sheets, gutters and flashing
(3) Steel Columns – 100mm x 100mm (gauges with design demands) Square Hollow Section Duragal, perfect for harsh Australian conditions

Prices indicated are for standard wind Region A with Custom Orb, Spandek or Trimdek roof and height of 2.4m and in-ground installation.
All carports, pergolas and awnings can also be supplied with base plates for a small extra cost. (excluding cyclonic areas)
These are not solar ready prices but in some cases ‘solar ready” will be the same price or just a little more.

Some companies will use BlueScope Steel but cheat you by using smaller members and less of them. Stay clear of purlins or girts with a gauge less than 1.0 mm. Cladding needs support and a frame needs substance or it will pull apart in a severe storm.
